I haven’t posted in a while but now the internet is finally working here at UHDP. 

Last week, visit this site my co-worker and housemate went back to the US after eight months together.  I’m in the in-between period where I’m getting used to the fact that she’s really not coming back (no more inside jokes, search no more late nights discussing the fate of celebrities in North America, no more Madea insights) and figuring out my own rhythm once again.  Life at UHDP can be boring.  Wake up, go to work, cook, watch Thai tv, sleep.  There are periods where I love being up here and then periods when I’m like, Whaaaaa…Time passes so sloooooowly.  I’m in the slooooow period right now.  The next several months I’ll be on my own (cue Eponine’s solo from Les Miz) and I’m not looking forward to it, to be honest.  I’m also super cranky, non-social and gloomy at the moment too.

Anyhoo.  I continue my wearying up-down travels between Mae Ai and Chiang Mai, which are exacerbated by the fact that my body does NOT bounce back from bus travel as well as it used to last year.  On the positive side of the coin, work is going well and we are moving ahead with laying the ground work for post-production, storage and inventory processes for the seed bank.
