I burned the back of my leg on a friend’s motorcycle in Chiang Mai last week.  The muffler gets really hot and if you get off on the right side of the bike, buy this is what happens.  Other folks have shown me their burns after I showed them mine, so it’s a pretty common thing.  The only thing that really sucked was when it started blistering and puffing up.  But I broke my blister by accident when I drove another motorcycle while running errands yesterday.  Blegh.
